Phil Lombardo (D) was elected to office in November 2019 and began his term in 2020. He was born in Akron and attended St. Martha Elementary and St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. He, and his wife Peggy, has two sons, Anthony & Nicholas. Phil is a lifetime member of St. Martha/Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and is a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Member (Council 3529). He is the Finance Director at Summit Psychological Associates.
Phil is an avid sports fan and enjoys attending the Browns, Cavs, and Guardians games. As a University of Akron graduate, he is a season ticket holder for the Zips football and basketball teams.
He is currently the Treasurer of St. Vincent-St. Mary Booster Club and still retains his license as an Ohio High School Basketball Official.
He is the Chair of the Budget & Finance Committee Vice Chair of Parks & Recreation, and serves on the Public Safety and Public Service Committees.
Councilman Lombardo holds Ward 2 meetings on the last Wednesday of the Month at 6:00 p.m. at the Polish American Club, located off of Dan St. There are no meetings in December or January. All are welcome for fellowship, snacks, and to hear great local speakers.
