City Council passed a resolution congratulating the 2019 University of Akron Zips Esports Rocket League Gold Team for winning the 2019 NCAA Esports Championship. University of Akron is the first team to make it to the final four two consecutive years in a row. City Council is proud of the youth in the City of Akron and excited to see what the Zips Esports team does next.
