Biography

Phil Lombardo (D) was elected to office in November 2019 and began his term in 2020. He was born in Akron and attended St. Martha Elementary and St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. He, and his wife Peggy, has two sons, Anthony & Nicholas. Phil is a lifetime member of St. Martha/Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and is a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Member (Council 3529). He works as an accountant at First Energy Corp.

Phil is an avid sports fan and coaches CYO Basketball & Football as well as coaching with the North Akron Baseball Association. He is the Athletic Director of North Akron Catholic School and is also an Ohio High School Basketball Official.

He is serves on the Budget & Finance, Public Service, Health & Social Services and Parks & Recreation Committees.
