Upper Cuyahoga River Watershed Management and Fiber-optic Cables

December 11, 2018

On Monday, City Council passed an ordinance authorizing the City of Akron and the City of Fairlawn to enter into an agreement to allow Akron owned fiber-optic cables to be used by the City of Fairlawn. The cables are currently not needed by the City of Akron. Also, an ordinance was passed allowing for the Director of Public Service to enter into forestry management-related agreements affecting the Upper Cuyahoga River Watershed. This helps with managing the award winning drinking water for the City of Akron.
