A second apartment building with 60-units will soon rise on Brownstone Avenue in the Commons at Madaline Park, a low-income development for veterans, disabled and the homeless. Council approved conditional use zoning and a land swap for the development and an associated park. The new development will include a small store, pharmacy, outdoor gardens and greenhouse. Council also approved a site plan for a 7,000 square foot, three-story building expansion at Sterling Jewelers that will house 35 to 40 employees.
