Digital billboards approved

ClearChannel Outdoor agreed to remove 13 static billboards within the city limits to win Council approval for adding five digital billboards to its inventory. The new digital billboards will be 300 square feet, less than half the 672-square feet digital signs motorists see along the expressways. In addition to carrying advertising messages, the billboards will provide instant messaging for Amber Alerts and other emergencies.
