City Council held two meetings Monday evening; the first a special meeting in which members discussed filling the Ward 10 and Council President seats and the second the regular meeting to legislate city business. Council agreed to wait until Ward 10 Councilman and Council President Garry Moneypenny takes office as mayor to address filling the vacancies. During the regular meeting, Council approved moving forward with Seiberling Street sewer improvements costing $4.1 million. It is the last phase of the new Goodyear World Headquarters project.
