Council asks Akron to search for Taylor Robinson

A resolution passed by Council Monday evening declared Friday, July 5, “Get out and search for Taylor Robinson” day. The resolution was introduced by Ward 5 Council Representative Ken jones who has spearheaded an effort to coordinate a citywide search for the missing 19-year old Kent State nursing student. “We want to involve the whole city in this search,” said Jones. “We’re asking everyone to look around their neighborhood for any signs that Taylor may have been there.” Monday was the 59th day since Robinson disappeared. In other news, Council approved the sale of a vacant building at 1559 S. Main Street. The buyer, Adkins Holdings, plans to redevelopment the property to house an Internet sales staff.
