Councilman Ken Jones hosts a Ward 5 meeting at the Mayflower Building, 263 S. Main St.
Councilman Jones also hosts Ward 5 meetings at the East Akron Community House, 550 S. Arlington St. on the first Wednesday each month and at Findley Community Learning Center, 65 W. Tallmadge Ave. on the last Thursday of the month (except in December) at 6 p.m.
There are no meetings in August while Council is on summer recess.

The public is invited to speak to Council at the end of every meeting. Speaking is limited to 3 minutes per citizen and to matters within Council's authority. Public hearings on proposed legislation will continue to be held during the regular Council meeting at 7 p.m.
