Refunding bonds, contracting for confinement save city $26.7 million
By approving an ordinance to refinance bonds and an ordinance to contract with Oriana House for alternative sentencing options for offenders, City Council authorized actions that will respectively save the city $20 million and $6.7 million. To learn more, watch Council's meeting from Monday night.
